Miley Cyrus will be presenting at this year’s Oscars, but don’t expect to see her Australian boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth on her arm. She’s taking her mother Tish, instead. It’s no disrespect to Liam, either, she just said that she doesn’t want her appearance overshadowed by her relationship with the actor.
A source said, “Liam’s a pretty low-key guy anyways, he doesn’t mind not going.”
Her rep confirmed that “She’s taking her mom, Tish.”
Miley said, “We’ve decided that any type of relationship that we have, we will always just keep it very down low. First and foremost, we are best friends, so that’s what I tell people all the time. All you want is for one person to say, ‘You did a really good job today.’ Or, ‘You look really beautiful’, or, ‘I was really moved by that.’ You just want one person to make you feel good about something you’re doing.”
